Chat Room Chatter!

We know that making virtual friends in online bingo chat rooms can lead to friendships in the real world. Indeed, one of the main attractions of online bingo is the social aspect. Busy chat rooms are the ideal breeding ground for new friendships, as players get to meet other people. From there on, friendships will usually progresses to one of the social network sites, such as Facebook, and then into the real world.

Because more and more people are discovering online Bingo, because the average age of players is getting younger, and because more men are now playing, there is the possibility of romance or even marriage. Whoa! Getting a bit ahead of myself there! But I’ve noticed that there’s been some syrupy language between a couple of regulars on my online Bingo site- and I think it won’t be too long before one of them takes the plunge and asks to meet up.

But there are other good things that can happen when chatting during online Bingo. Apart from enjoying the game of Bingo, everyone is different. People come from different backgrounds; have different histories, different likes, dislikes, hobbies, and skills. I have been given some very good advice for free from a chat room chum about investing money, and from a PC-tekky about the best type of anti-virus to get. Asking others, I found that there’s a lot of trading of advice and experience going on in chat rooms. It’s not just all Bingo-talk! Here are some examples:

  • During a conversation, a lady mentioned that she was selling her car, a two-seater sports car, because she was having a baby and wanted something bigger. As luck would have it, another lady in the chat room was looking for a sports car following a pretty big Bingo win. They met up, the test drive was successful, and the car changed hands for a mutually agreed sum. When they are on-line and in the same chat room, the seller often enquires about how her ex-sports car is doing!
  • The mysteries of obtaining legal advice were made a little clearer by a partner in a law firm, to a person who was looking to take someone to Court. Before the chat got too involved, they agreed to move over to Facebook to continue their discussion, rather than clog up the chat room with a conversation that other people might not have found interesting!
  • A junior doctor who worked at an NHS Trust hospital suggested to a friend of mine that she ought to get what seemed to be a minor ailment checked by a General Practitioner in case it was something more serious. My friend took the Doctor’s advice and visited her GP. She was then referred to a hospital and after a blood test, it was discovered that she had an intolerance to lactose. This explained why she was often sick after having had milk on her breakfast cereal. She is absolutely fine now, because she has lactose-free milk.

So you see it’s worth engaging in conversation in your chat room with anyone and everyone. You might find romance, or an answer to your question, or be able to answer someone else’s question. Go on and take the plunge if you don’t already chat- there’s a lot of very friendly and knowledgeable people out there in online Bingo-land!
