How Lucky Can You Be?

Few people would dispute that bingo is primarily a game of luck. But there are a few ways you can make sure that you don’t reduce your luck!  Imagine if you were to have two Bingo cards all the same?  Unlikely but I have seen it happen that someone has two identical cards.. all with the same numbers on them! That may have been a mistake!  If you lucky enough to win.. you don’t win twice by having two cards! So my advice would be to look for cards with a wide spread of different numbers on them. You can’t always choose your own cards, but you can usually replace cards you don’t like the look of.

The more cards you buy, the greater your chance of winning. That’s not really luck at all, just a fact! Beyond that, the only other factor that may come into play is the Bingo environment.  If playing land-based or live Bingo, the environment can exert a much stronger influence of your  “luck”.  Where you are in relation to the caller, the screen, or other distractions at the periphery of the Bingo Hall, can cause you to be slower in marking your cards, maybe miss a call, mis-hear a call, or even cause you to be so frustrated that you give up and walk out in a strop! On the other hand if you are in a good position, relaxed, and attentive, you’ll be milking the maximum luck from the environment.

Online, there are less distractions from the environment, and with the auto dauber on, you won’t miss any numbers because they’re marked off automatically.  If you prefer to mark off your numbers by hand, then there is a small risk that the layout of the screen, the volume of the sound, and the speed of your mouse, might affect you!

Apart from that, your luck is purely down to.. how lucky you are! I know people who feel that if they’ve had some good fortune, then they will indulge in a lot more luck-based games such as Bingo. Others, that if they’ve had some bad luck (such as losing a fiver from your wallet into the sea.. which has happened to me) then you need to try to turn your luck around, by playing games of chance and luck.

Whatever you think about luck, I hope you don’t mind if I wish you all... the best of luck!
