In land-based live bingo, some halls advertise a guaranteed amount for a win at a particular session. Now that’s interesting because that sum is not affected by the number of people taking part. If there are loads of people, then the chances of winning that big advertised prize is low, but if there are few people there, your chance increases. There's less competition for the jackpot, and, legally, bingo halls have to award the prizes they advertise regardless of how many people show up.
