My boys having fled the nest, I hadn’t appreciated that the end of the school holidays can spell a (small) sigh of relief for some people! Not because they’re glad to see the back of the kids for most of each weekday, but because it means that bingo online can be enjoyed in a relaxed environment between the hours between 9 and 4!
Of course it may be that you parents out there have been able to slip in some late night online Bingo sessions after having put the bairns to bed? However I seem to remember that when my boys were babes and then toddlers, I used to be exhausted and needed my sleep for work next day after I got them off to sleep!
But I have noticed some increased Bingo playing and chat room activity at my fave online Bingo sites during the day. Of course, I had to engage in some instant research in this area (which is another way of saying that I am terminally nosey!) A Few parents agreed that while they hadn’t given up playing Bingo during the hols, they certainly didn’t play as much. One of my friends even said that on the last few days of her holiday in Majorca, she was beginning to pine for her favourite online Bingo site- and went on within an hour of arriving back home from the airport, before any unpacking or washing! She must have it bad!! I asked whether there were opportunities to play at her resort; Majorca being as English as you can get outside of England. She said that there were indeed many opportunities to play in live Bingo sessions- some even on the beach, but that it wasn’t the same. However she confessed to me that was because she was often distracted from concentrating on daubing her Bingo card because of the physique and good looks of the local callers! She said that was something that couldn’t happen online, and rarely happened at live Bingo games in England. I retorted that I did remember a time when as Bingo caller at many venues in the UK, my torso, boyish charm, and devastating good looks could have turned many a Bingo-player’s head! She laughed. Damn!
Anyway, here we are on the final quarter of the year- the long slippery slide to Christmas and another New Year. Let’s hope you can get a nice fat Bingo win and then can have an extra holiday abroad at Christmas. But just don’t get distracted by the local callers!
